POLICE in South West Fife police officers fielded more than 200 calls at the end of April and start of May.
Across seven days in the area, which covers Rosyth, Inverkeithing, Dalgety Bay and the West Fife villages, there were 210 calls recorded with 27 requiring an immediate response.
Crimes and offences included assault, assault to injury, police assault and possession of an offensive weapon.
Officers also dealt with theft by housebreaking, housebreaking with intent to steal, fraud, attempted theft of a motor vehicle and dangerous driving.
The call-outs led to 24 crime files being recorded which contained a total of 26 charges.
