A TEEN has been charged after counterfeit cash was handed over to a delivery driver in Dunfermline.
Police urged the public on Tuesday to be aware after a number of incidents recently where delivery drivers were paid for food items with counterfeit £20 notes.
Now a 15-year-old has been charged with the offence of forgery.
On Dunfermline Police's Twitter page it stated: "Following an incident in Dunfermline where a delivery driver was paid with a fake £20 note we can confirm that a 15-year-old was charged with an offence contrary to s15 Forgery and Counterfeiting Act 1981."
The Press has asked Police Scotland for details of when these offences took place.
