A MAN was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a disturbance in Dunfermline on Saturday night.

Three arrests have been made after officers attended the scene at Targate Road at around 11.25pm.

Two women, aged 41 and 39, and a man, 31, were arrested and charged in relation to the incident which saw a 37-year-old man injured.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police were called around 11.25pm on Saturday, June 20, following the report of a disturbance on Targate Road, Dunfermline.

"A 37-year-old man was taken to Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, with serious but not life threatening injuries.

"Officers attended and two women aged 41 and 39 and one man aged 31 have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident."

"They are due to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Monday (today) June 22."
