THREE UK are set to re-open their Dunfermline store next week.

The mobile phone branch, part of the Kingsgate Shopping Centre, will welcome back customers on Monday.

The shop will operate with reduced opening hours (10am to 4pm) and social distancing measures will be in place.

Anyone who attends Three will be allowed to enter if the store has capacity, or they will be given a time to return if it is busy.

It is part of their phased approach to re-opening that will continuously be reviewed alongside government guidance.

To ensure the health of staff, any staff member displaying COVID-19 systems will be instructed to self-isolate.

The Dunfermline branch will display 'wait here' signs to manage the number of customers in at any one time, and floor stickers will remind shoppers to adhere to the recommended two-metre social distancing rule.

Perspex screens are also now in place and hand sanitiser is available when entering and leaving the shop.

Staff will be advised not to touch customer handsets unless completely essential - staff will also be provided with gloves.

Elaine Carey, chief commercial officer, Three UK, said: “We have carefully considered how we can reopen our retail stores in a changed operating environment and will be introducing a number of new measures to help our colleagues and customers feel safe when visiting our stores.

“The wellbeing of our people and customers has remained at the forefront of our decision making as we work through the impact of COVID-19.

"While we know our stores will look and feel very different, we’re looking forward to reopening our doors so that we can start to serve our customers on high streets and local communities once more.”
