A MAN's body was tragically discovered in Pittencrieff Park in Dunfermline yesterday (Sunday) morning.
The 47-year-old was found in a stream within the park with police officers called to attend at around 6.45am.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "At around 6.45am on Sunday, July 5, officers were called to Pittencrieff Park, Dunfermline, after the body of a 47-year-old man was found in a stream.
"There does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
