YOU'RE running the country and trying to deal with a deadly pandemic, so where did Nicola Sturgeon go for a break when the five-miles restriction was finally lifted? West Fife of course.

After lockdown measures had eased, allowing Scots to travel further for leisure, the First Minister spent time in the Kingdom on Saturday.

In a tweet, Ms Sturgeon said: "Needed some fresh air and exercise earlier so ⁦after a (physically-distanced, outdoor) family visit to Fife, I dragged Peter Murrell for a bracing walk across the Forth Road Bridge.

"The rail bridge was looking majestic as ever."
