DRIVERS faced lengthy queues yesterday evening following an accident on the A92 between Cowdenbeath and Crossgates.

Traffic heading westbound was brought to a halt as police, fire and ambulance services attended the scene.

The incident involved two vehicles but, thankfully, there were no serious injuries.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 4.45pm, officers were called to the A92 near Dunfermline, following a crash involving two vehicles.

"There were no serious injuries."
