A DALGETY BAY youngster has been using his free time to clean an old pet cemetery in Crossford with his grandad.
Jed King, 10, thought it was sad that nettles and weeds were covering up the headstones next to the Keavil House Hotel.
Alongside his grandad, Frank McCaffety, the Dalgety Bay Primary School pupil got to work and started cleaning up the site which has headstones dating between 1921 and 1947.
Jed said: "For the past month, me and my grandad have been cleaning a very old pet cemetery next to the Keavil House Hotel."
He added: "We thought that it is sad that old stingy nettles and weeds have covered it so we decided to clear it all away. We used big shears to cut away the branches and big wire brushes to clear the old headstones.
"We are so proud of our work. Now people can walk past to pay their respects to all the pets who passed on."
