A DRINK-DRIVER, more than three times over the limit, crashed into railings in Dunfermline and failed to report the accident.
As a result, Ross Sharp, 35, of Main Street, Kingseat, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on April 11 he drove a vehicle in Shields Road, Dunfermline, had an accident whereby he collided with metal railings, causing damage and did not report this.
He also admitted that at the time he was driving having consumed excess alcohol.
His reading was 71 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit being 22 microgrammes.
Sheriff Charles Macnair called for reports and Sharp will be sentenced on August 27. An interim driving ban was imposed until then.
