A DUNFERMLINE teen has organised a music festival fundraiser to support a 12-year-old girl with cancer.

This weekend, a line-up of artists local and upcoming will be performing, hoping to raise at least £10,000 for Lily Douglas from Perth.

Eilidh Robertson, aged 17, who attends Dunfermline High School, was inspired to help after following Lily's journey over recent years.

Lily has been battling Ewing’s sarcoma for the last three-and-a-half years.

'Lily's Lockdown Festival' will start tonight at 6.45pm- 10.20pm and will also run at the same times tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday.

Highlights include Joshua Grant, Callum Beattie, Amy Lou, Be Charlotte and Kenny Mccloud.

Musician Eilidh will be performing as well! She said: "We have around 19 artists involved.

"Lily is so brave and unfortunately she has taken a downturn and will need a wheelchair so that means her family need to make some alterations to their home.

"I'm hoping we will smash the £10,000 target! The money will go a little way in taking the stress away."

Eilidh added: "I've never actually met Lily but I've been friends with her mum on Facebook since the start of Lily's journey.

"Recently I've felt that I needed to do more to help!"
