FIRE crews have been dealing with an incident in Dunfermline today (Saturday).
Crews raced to the Bruce Street area of the town centre after being called out just after midday.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said the incident was not serious but had taken place in Queen Anne Street.
He said Bruce Street was closed off due to the number of fire engines in the street dealing with the incident.
He told the Press: "There was an incident that the fire service was investigating but it was not a serious one and the fire appliances have left the scene."
Local reports suggested the fire was coming from a restaurant chimney but the spokesman said he had no further information to give out relating to the location or cause of the fire.
