A total of 60 people tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 24 hours.
Of those new cases 39 were recorded in NHS Grampian and 9 in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
No further deaths of people who tested positive for the virus were registered in the 24 hour window.
The number of people in hospital with a confirmed case of coronavirus and the number of people in intensive care both decreased by one, hitting 261 and 3 respectively.
The figures come as nurses and social care workers across the UK joined demonstrations for fair pay.
In Glasgow, around 400 people gathered for a socially distanced protest claiming that the pay increase excludes “a massive number of healthcare workers".
Meanwhile, Aberdeen is facing its first weekend back in lockdown after an outbreak at a pub.
