POLICE in South West Fife had to deal with 225 calls last week and crimes including an assault on an officer, drug-dealing, possession of an offensive weapon and careless driving.
A total of 46 of the calls required an immediate or priority response and led to 38 crime files being opened and 51 charges. They included assault to injury, threatening and abusive behaviour, resisting arrest, supplying controlled drugs and possession of class C drugs.
The South West Fife patrol area includes Rosyth, Dalgety Bay, Inverkeithing, Aberdour and the West Fife villages, and the snapshot of police activity covers seven days.
