TWO shop workers were attacked by a Dunfermline man.
The victims were both punched repeatedly and one of them was headbutted at a Spar store.
Sean Campbell, 23, of Lauder Street, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court for the violent attacks, which occurred on April 7.
Campbell had admitted that at the Spar shop in Townhill Road, he assaulted Zaheer Babar, then in the course of his employment, by punching him repeatedly on the head and body.
He also assaulted Romaan Babar, who was also in the course of his employment, by butting him on the head and punching him on the head and body repeatedly.
The court was told Campbell had 21 previous convictions.
Defence solicitor Gordon Martin said: “He couldn’t remember what he did but he knew he did something.”
Sheriff Alastair Brown fined Campbell £220 and ordered him to pay £100 each in compensation to the two victims. The sheriff also banned Campbell from entering the shop for a year.
