A WOMAN was struck on the head repeatedly by her daughter as they sat in a car in Inverkeithing.
Laura McArthur, 24, of Pentland Terrace, High Valleyfield, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court for sentencing.
She admitted previously that on November 15, at Heriot Street, Inverkeithing, she assaulted her mother, when they were both seated in a vehicle, by striking her on the head repeatedly with her hands.
She admitted that also in Heriot Street, she shouted, swore, acted aggressively and placed her parents and two children in a state of fear and alarm.
Defence solicitor Alexander Flett said his client and her mum had now reconciled and “both of them want to put this behind them”.
Sheriff Alastair Brown imposed a three-month restriction of liberty order.
