TWO people were taken to hospital after a road traffic collision between Dalgety Bay and Aberdour last night.
Police and ambulance services were called to the scene on the A921 just after 7pm following a crash involving two cars.
The road was closed for around an hour as the emergency services dealt with the incident, which saw both drivers taken to the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7.05pm on Thursday, 27 August, officers were called to the A921 between Dalgety Bay and Aberdour, following a crash involving two cars.
"Both drivers were conveyed to hospital for treatment and the road was closed for around one hour."
Earlier, two cars had been involved in a separate incident on the A921 east of Hillend.
That collision had been reported at around 3.20pm, and there were no reports of any serious injuries.
