A DUNFERMLINE woman has admitted a benefits fraud of more than £12,000.
Rebecca Conway, 40, of Craigmyle Street, submitted guilty pleas regarding two benefits claims over a period of more than a year.
She admitted that between January 1, 2018, and April 22, 2019, she failed to notify the Department for Work and Pensions of a change in circumstances and obtained £7,662 to which she was not entitled.
She also admitted a similar charge between the same dates which resulted in her receiving £4,792 in housing benefits to which she was not entitled.
Sheriff Charles Macnair called for reports and Conway will be sentenced on October 7.
