A 16-YEAR-OLD girl has appeared in court following an assault at a Dunfermline high school.
The girl, from Lochgelly, cannot be named for legal reasons.
At Dunfermline Sheriff Court, she admitted that on August 12, at St Columba’s High School, she attacked a girl by grabbing her hair, pulling her to the ground and then struck her to the head repeatedly to her injury.
The court was told the attacker was not a pupil at the school and that the victim was a former friend.
Sheriff Charles Macnair called for reports and the girl will be sentenced on October 14.
