ONFife will light up the Carnegie Hall in red tomorrow (Wednesday) as a show of support for the live events industry.

The switch-on is part of Red Alert – Stand as One, a global campaign to raise awareness in support of the live events sector, which employs more than one million people in the UK, all of whom have had no work since March with little likelihood of restarting until spring next year.

Michelle Sweeney, ONFife’s Director of Creative Development, said: "We are only too aware of the dire situation faced not only by live events but the culture sector as a whole.

“We hope that when people see one of our theatres lit up on Wednesday night it will be a reminder that we are still here and still need your support.”

The Carnegie Hall will be lit in red from 8 to 11pm on Wednesday, September 30.
