PEDAL power helped Duloch youngster Noah Hart raise more than £2,000 for CHAS at the weekend.

Aged just six, the Carnegie Primary pupil – along with dad Gary – powered his way through the 88.4km route from Glasgow to Edinburgh.

They finished the amazing challenge along the Clyde and Forth Canal in just over eight hours.

With mum Laura working as a staff nurse at Rachel House, Noah knows all about the good work carried out by CHAS and wanted to help.

"Noah was amazing – completing the last few kilometres like the first few," said proud dad Gary. "We finished the route in eight hours and three minutes, with a few breaks for water and food on top of that. He has raised an amazing £2,080 for CHAS.

"He loved it – there was lots to see along the way. We were both really tired on Saturday night but come Sunday morning, Noah was up and out for his golf."
