A female cyclist and a three-year-old child were taken to hospital yesterday (Sunday) after they were hit by a car in Dunfermline.
The incident happened at around 9.30am at Linburn Road where an elderly driver reportedly hit the cyclist who had a child passenger.
It's thought that both the child and female sustained injuries.
A police spokesperson said: “Officers attended at Linburn Road in Dunfermline at 9.35am on Sunday, October 10, following reports of a crash involving a car and cyclist who was carrying a child passenger.
“The cyclist, 31-year-old woman and three-year-old boy were taken to hospital for treatment.
“The driver of the car, an 87-year-old man, will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.”
