FIFE has now recorded 206 coronavirus deaths since the start of the outbreak.
The latest figures from the National Records of Scotland’s (NRS) monthly report shows that a further two people have died in the Kingdom with COVID-19 on the death certificate.
Data shows that 109 men in Fife have lost their lives to the virus, with another 97 female deaths recorded.
The NRS death total is different from the count of deaths published daily by the Scottish Government because the latter is based on deaths of those who have tested positive for COVID-19.
The NRS figures include all deaths where coronavirus (including suspected cases) was mentioned on the person’s death certificate.
