A KELTY business has lost more than £20,000 of equipment after thieves stole items from their yard.

J Low Agri Services were targeted on Wednesday night with a number of expensive goods taken.

The business, based at Kelty Industrial Park, posted on Facebook on Thursday: "We have had over £20,000 worth of GPS Equipment and control boxes stolen from our yard.

"Thieves entered the yard around 9.20pm last night (Wednesday, Oct 14) broke into a tractor removing the navigation controller along with the receiver from the roof and two control boxes for our demo Pottinger and Claydon drills.

"If anyone can provide any information please contact us on 01383 830220 or by contacting the police who are now investigating."

Police appeal for any witnesses to step forward


Police Scotland confirmed that the incident is under investigation.

A spokesperson said: “Police Scotland can confirm a report has been received relating to a high value break-in at the premises of J Low Agri Services at the Kelty Industrial Park, Kelty.

"The break-in happened around 9.20pm on Wednesday, October 14. 

"Anyone who may have been in the area of Kelty Industrial Park on Wednesday evening around this time, and who saw or heard anything suspicious is asked to call police on the 101 number, quoting the reference number 1365 of October 15.

"Anyone wishing to pass on information while remaining anonymous can do so through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
