A DUNFERMLINE man has landed himself in court after making threats during a Facetime call to his former partner.
Robert Martinez-Teixeira, 47, of Trondheim Parkway, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on June 20, he made a Facetime phone call to his former partner in which he repeatedly shouted, swore, acted aggressively and made threats of violence.
Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf said Martinez-Teixeira had phoned his ex-partner when she was in her car.
He became abusive and started making threats. “At least four times he said he would kill her,” added the depute.
Defence solicitor James Moncrieff said the background was issues over child contact.
“He accepts he lost the plot on this occasion,” he added.
Sheriff James MacDonald deferred sentence until January 13 for him to be of good behaviour.
