JUST one area in West Fife recorded the highest number of positive coronavirus rates in the past seven days.

Kelty East was the only neighbourhood in the area which was in the highest category for positive cases in the weekly figures released by Public Health Scotland (PHS).

In the seven-day period from October 17 to 24, Kelty East – with a total of 17 positive cases – (highlighted red) was included in the highest rating where the number of positive cases in the past seven days gave them a rate of 100-plus per 100,000 population.
