A TRAIN conductor was allegedly assaulted on a train passing through West Fife on Friday evening.
British Transport Police officers were called to Dunfermline Town Railway station after an incident on an Edinburgh-bound train.
A spokesperson for BTP said: "Officers were called to Dunfermline Town railway station at 7.32pm on Friday 13 November following a report that a train conductor had been assaulted on board a train service from Glenrothes to Edinburgh Waverly.
"Enquiries into this incident are ongoing."
