Emergency services were called to Townhill Road yesterday afternoon (Monday) following a crash involving three cars.
The road was closed in both directions following the incident at around 3.35pm and reopened again at 4.40pm.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a three-vehicle crash on Headwell Avenue at Townhill Road, Dunfermline, around 3.35pm on Monday, 16 November, 2020.
"An ambulance attended as a precaution. The road was clear by 4.40pm."
