AN INVERKEITHING man has been sentenced for drug-dealing.
James Gallagher, 38, of Forth View, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He had been found guilty previously of a charge that on December 20, 2018, at his home, he was in possession of cannabis with intent to supply it to others.
He admitted a second charge that he was in possession of cocaine on the same day.
Defence solicitor Brian Allison said that £1,150 in cash found in his client’s home was “for Christmas presents”.
Sheriff Charles Macnair responded: “Maybe it was for Christmas presents but he still hasn’t said where it came from.”
He imposed a nine-month restriction of liberty order. He also granted the forfeiture of the £1,150 seized from the house.
