POLICE are investigating reports of a man acting suspiciously around a Glasgow school. 

There have been a number of reports of a man allegedly following a Jordanhill School pupil home earlier this month. 

As yet, no criminality has been established despite the repeated allegations.

The pupil at the esteemed school was reportedly tailed three times but it is understood the reports were made a week after the latest allegation. 

Police confirmed that they were investigating the matter after receiving the reports of incidents occurring on Wednesdays, November 18, 4 and 11.

Dr Paul Thomson, rector of the school, told the Scottish Sun: "Jordanhill School will at all times be guided by the police in relation to any issue regarding the safety and well-being of young people and would act in accordance with that advice.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "We can confirm that on Wednesday, November 18, officers in Glasgow received a report of an unknown man acting suspiciously in the Chamberlain Road area.

"The man was allegedly seen on Wednesday, November 4, and Wednesday, November 11.

"Enquiries into the matter are ongoing and no criminality has been established at this point."
