THERE was a "disturbance" near the Asda St Leonard's store in Dunfermline on Tuesday evening that led to three men being charged.

Police Scotland confirmed that the incident resulted in "minor injuries" and could result in court action.

A spokesperson told the Press: "Police were called around 6.05pm on Tuesday following the report of a disturbance on St Leonard's Street, Dunfermline.

"Three men aged 22, 29 and 40 have been charged in connection with the incident.

"There were minor injuries and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
