NOTRE Dame High is the latest school to be affected by coronavirus.
Pupils have been sent home to self-isolate following a positive test connected to the school.
Inverclyde Council said: "Parents and carers of pupils affected or requiring to self-isolate have received communication through the school."
A series of local schools have reported Covid-19 cases this week.
Positive cases have been identified in Moorfoot Primary, Port Glasgow High, St Ninian’s Primary and the nursery at St Joseph’s Primary.
As of Tuesday there were 342 Covid-related absences recorded in schools across Inverclyde - 310 pupils and 32 members of staff.
