DUNFERMLINE'S new B&M store is now open.
The latest addition to the Kingsgate Shopping Centre opened its doors to customers for the first time this morning (Monday).
Volunteers from Dunfermline Foodbank took centre stage to officially unveil the store after B&M colleagues were asked to nominate a charity they believed deserved some VIP treatment.
In addition to opening the new B&M, the team received £250 worth of B&M vouchers to go towards supporting the local people of Dunfermline.
Anne McHardy, store manager, said: “It was really exciting to welcome customers through the doors this morning – the feedback so far has been fantastic.”
“A big thank you to the team at Dunfermline Foodbank who helped us open the store today, we hope that our donation can help them to continue to do the great work they do in supporting the local people.”
A total of 30 jobs have been created.
