A NEWMILLS man attacked his partner by grabbing her hair, punching her and choking her.
Christopher Macleod, 27, of Torry Bay Court, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on November 13, at his home, he assaulted his partner by seizing her by the body, pushing her, seizing her by the hair and pushing her face onto the floor.
He attempted to prevent her calling the police, punched her on the body, whereby she fell to the ground, and put his hands around her neck and applied pressure, all to her injury.
Defence solicitor Brian Black said the woman was now living elsewhere.
Sheriff Charles Macnair called for reports and Macleod will be sentenced on January 6.
