TAKEAWAYS across Dunfermline and West Fife will still be open for orders despite a new lockdown beginning today.

A number of local businesses, and larger fast food chains, have chosen to keep trading with customers able to collect or have meals delivered to their door.

The recent Scottish Government update states that: "Restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars are closed.

"Takeaways can still operate as normal, providing food is sold for consumption off premises.

"Face coverings and physical distancing rules must be followed."

Various fast food delivery platforms are available, such as Just Eat and Uber Eats, while the new Dunfermline Eats app caters for a number of our favourite eateries.

You can also order directly from any restaurant or cafe that is offering takeaway meals.

On Just Eat alone, there are more than 60 outlets in West Fife that are still operating, including Hel's Kitchen, the Everest Inn, the Brig Cafe and Gratzi's in Dunfermline,
