THE plug is set to be pulled on a TV repair shop in Townhill that will be turned into a one-bedroom flat.
Planning permission has been granted to Alan Matson to change the use of the property at 100 Main Street from retail to a home.
He's been running Dunfermline Repair Centre from the site for years but has now been given approval by Fife Council to convert it into a ground-floor flat.
A council report said "the loss of this retail unit would have no significant detrimental impact" and added: "The proposed use would also bring about the re-use of this redundant unit, would be compatible with the existing residential uses within the surrounding area and would comply with the defined role of a local shopping centre."
