RESTRICTIONS have been tightened at Dunfermline Bus Station to ensure travellers can stick to coronavirus regulations.
A passenger contacted the Press after seeing that the waiting area had been closed off to customers.
Fife Council confirmed that the measure was part of their efforts to reduce COVID-19 risks after the Scottish Government introduced their Stay at Home guidelines.
Service manager Tony McRae said: "During the latest lockdown restrictions, our first priority is to keep people safe, and we've therefore restricted access to some areas of the bus station.
"If anyone needs to access toilets or seating areas, our supervisors can arrange this in a controlled way to ensure social-distancing.
"We would urge people to follow the government guidance and advice and only travel when it's essential to do so."
