A DUNFERMLINE woman struggled violently with police officers who broke up a noisy house party.
Officers were called to a house in Allan Crescent to deal with anti-social behaviour and arrested two women.
Both women then began struggling violently.
One of them, Shannon McDonald, 24, of Halkett Crescent, has now appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
She admitted previously that she resisted police officers, struggled violently and threw her arms about in an effort to evade arrest.
Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf said five officers attended the address at 9.45pm.
They found eight people there, all heavily intoxicated and because of the noise and anti-social behaviour, they were told to leave.
Sheriff Charles Macnair told McDonald: “Police officers are entitled to do their duty without people behaving in this manner in an effort to evade arrest.”
He imposed a restriction of liberty order for 135 days.
The other woman involved was sentenced previously, being placed on a community payback order with unpaid work.
