LOVE is in the air in Dalgety Bay despite all the doom and gloom.

A bit of good old-fashioned romance is being shared in the town thanks to social enterprise group Blooming Lovely, who have placed decorative hearts across the Bay in celebration of Valentine's Day.

Locals have been in touch with the group to share messages that are being put on signs.

Some of those include: "Jürgen Klopp loves you", "Nicola loves Boris" and "Frankie loves Benny".

Peter Collins, founder of Blooming Lovely, hopes the displays will encourage people to go on a hunt for the signs for their daily exercise.

He said: "Instead of all the doom and gloom, we thought we'd share some positivity.

"It's miserable and with everything that is going on with COVID, people could do with being cheered up.

"It's definitely true that Jürgen Klopp loves Liverpool supporters in the Bay!

"People have been sending in their messages and I have actually run out of hearts now so I'm going to have to make some more.

"They're just dotted about so people can follow a wee trail when they're out for their daily exercise.

"Hopefully it brings some positivity and a smile."

There was heartbreak in 2019 when Fife Council removed the Valentine's display Blooming Lovely created following complaints.

Peter added: "We've put them out again this year so we'll see how long they last.

"Our snowman display at Christmas was wrecked by some eijits too so we'll see."
