A DUNFERMLINE man has been fined for causing a disturbance at the home of his estranged wife.
The culprit was Alec Smith, 40, of Osprey Crescent, who pushed the woman resulting in photo frames being smashed as he tried to retrieve his mobile phone.
At Dunfermline Sheriff Court, a guilty plea was submitted by his solicitor, Alexander Flett.
Smith admitted that on October 3 last year at Islay Road, he attended at the property of his partner, pushed his way into the house, shouted, pushed her whereby she struck photo frames which were smashed as a result and demanded that she return his mobile phone.
Mr Flett said: “They had been married for a year but they were separated at the time and he’s started divorce proceedings.
“She had taken his phone and he had gone to get it back.”
Sheriff Pino di Emidio fined Smith £300.
