FOUR youths have been charged with anti social behaviour offences in Rosyth and Inverkeithing.

The arrests follow a spate of incidents involving bad behaviour from groups of teenagers over recent weeks which has seen police patrols stepped up in the area.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Four youths under the age of 16 years have now been charged in relation to a number of acts of vandalism and an assault in recent days.

"Reports will be submitted to the relevant authorities.

"Enquiries are ongoing into other acts of antisocial behaviour and police patrols are in place to counter this type of behaviour.

"The public are asked to contact police immediately if they witness or have any issues concerning antisocial behaviour in the community, either through the 101 number, or 999 if it is an emergency.

"Officers ask that calls are made at the time of the incident in order to allow them the opportunity to attend at the time and deal with the matter there and then."
