A DUNFERMLINE youth has been sentenced to detention for making abusive phone calls and breaching bail.

Tyler O’Donnell, 19, of Golfdrum Street, appeared from custody at Dunfermline Sheriff Court for sentencing for offences from 2018.

Between June 26 and June 27, 2018, he sent a voicemail and phone call to his ex-partner in which he made abusive remarks and threats.

He also admitted previously that having been made subject to bail conditions on July 3, 2018, not to approach or contact a female, he breached this between July 3 and 19, 2018, when he contacted her repeatedly by texts and phone calls.

Sheriff James Macdonald sentenced O’Donnell to four months’ detention.
