PLANS to create a hot food takeaway in a West Fife bakery have been given the green light despite a string of objections.
The application, from Mohammed Yasin, had asked to change the use of part of the bakery and retail unit in Kincardine's Elphinstone Street.
There were 16 objections – and a petition signed by 132 residents – with concerns raised including noise, lack of parking and the impact on existing businesses.
Despite the opposition, the central and west planning committee granted permission at their meeting last Wednesday
