DOBBIES will re-open in Dunfermline today (Monday).

The garden centre at Fife Leisure Park is able to open to the public once again following updated guidance from the Scottish Government.

The restaurant and soft play will remain temporarily closed, however.

Graeme Jenkins, CEO of Dobbies, said: “We welcome this updated guidance from the Scottish Government, enabling us to reopen our stores, including the Dunfermline store. The safety of our team members and customers remains Dobbies’ number one priority.

“Spring is the time when people want to get back out into their gardens, and with proven health and wellbeing benefits, reopening in Scotland is a positive development.”

The store will be open 9am to 6pm from Monday to Sunday.

Dobbies in Dunfermline will be operating with safety measures in place.

A queuing system will be in operation outside of the store, and two-metre markers are in place both inside and outside.

Hand sanitising and trolley cleaning stations are available at the store entrance.

There are protective screens at tills and customers are asked to pay by card or contactless if possible.

Appropriate PPE has been provided for staff and rigorous daily hygiene routines throughout the store is being implemented, Dobbies said.
