THIEVES made off with scrap metal from a farm near Aberdour at the weekend.
It's understood that three men entered farm property and started to steal items at around 4.30pm on Sunday.
Reports suggest that they were "challenged" by the farmer and then made off with some of the metal.
Police are investigating the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of a theft of metal from a farm near Aberdour around 4.30pm on Sunday, April 11.
"Inquiries into the incident are ongoing."
