THIS was the scene in Dunfermline's High Street shortly before 7am today as shops and leisure facilities are set to re-open following the easing of lockdown restrictions.
Already, at 6.53am, a queue had started to form outside Dunfermline's Primark store with West Fife shoppers keen to be among the first to snap up bargains.
An hour earlier, Carnegie Leisure Centre had re-opened its doors with fitness enthusiasts back in the gym and pool for public swimming sessions at 6am alongside members of Carnegie Swimming Club.
Major restrictions have eased today as Scotland has moved into Level 3 lockdown.
These changes include the full reopening of retail services and partial reopening of the hospitality sector along with beauty salons, gyms and tourist accommodation can reopen from today.
The Press will keep you updated throughout the day as West Fifers take advantage of the first day of restrictions being eased since the country went into a full lockdown on January 4.
