A 39-YEAR-OLD man has been caught on camera after a number of thefts from supermarkets in Dalgety Bay.
A tweet from South West Fife Police suggested it had been an open-and-shutter case after the footage from the security systems was checked.
It said: "One male identified and being reported in connection with several recent shopliftings in Dalgety Bay.
"No idea what people expect when most shops have high-definition CCTV cameras."
A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed: "A 39-year-old is the subject of a report to the procurator fiscal in connection with a number of thefts from supermarkets in Dalgety Bay.
"The incidents happened between February and March 2021."
