A NUMBER of pupils at a high school in Dunfermline have been told not to attend today (Monday) over a suspected coronavirus case.
A groupcall was sent out to parents and carers of the pupils likely to be affected by the COVID-19 case, if it is revealed to be positive.
It is unknown at this time how many pupils and/or staff could be impacted.
Mick McGee, headteacher, said yesterday (Sunday): "This groupcall is being issued today, Sunday May 9, to ask that your child does not attend school tomorrow (Monday) until we receive further information on a suspected COVID-19 case.
"A further update will be issues as soon as possible. Pupils, parents and staff are kindly reminded to respect the confidentiality of individual pupils and staff."
