POLICE in West Fife have praised the public for helping them take what they consider to be a dangerous driver off the roads.
A man was arrested near the Queensferry Crossing on Monday and has been charged with driving offences as well as a drug offence.
South West Fife Police said on social media: "One male driver arrested near the #QueensferryCrossing yesterday.
"Charged in connection with several offences, including driving while unfit through drink or drugs and possession of a class C substance.
"Thanks to those who phoned in. A danger off of the roads with nobody hurt."
