PETER Grant has today been appointed as the new first-team manager of Dunfermline Athletic.
Grant will be the new face in the dugout at East End Park for the upcoming season following the recent departure of Stevie Crawford.
Grant has been unveiled this morning and the Press will have full reaction to his appointment later today.
It was announced in April that the 55-year-old would leave his role as Alloa Athletic boss upon the expiry of his contract in the summer after failing to keep the Wasps in the Scottish Championship.
He has quickly found himself a new home in Dunfermline and will look to build on the club's fourth-place finish and promotion play-off disappointment achieved during the 2020/21 campaign.
Former Celtic player and twice-capped Scotland international Grant was revealed as Alloa boss in July 2019 and his final game in charge of the club ended in a 1-0 victory against his new club Dunfermline last month, April 30.
More to follow.
