Aberdour is currently closed off from traffic after an accident involving a skip lorry on the A921.
The vehicle is on its side near the West side of Aberdour blocking access through the village.
Witnesses say that the Fire Service is in attendance trying to get the driver of the lorry free from the vehicle.
Those trying to get into Aberdour can not get access from the back road called Mill Farm Road either as it is currently shut due to work on the rail bridge that it passes over.
The Press has approached Police Scotland for comment but a spokesperson said they "cannot find any report on this on our systems".
